Description
To celebrate this year's CHRISTMAS LECTURES ‘Supercharged – Fuelling the future’ by Prof Saiful Islam the team in our L'Oreal Young Scientist Centre has developed a new workshop.
Participants will work together to convert different forms of energy into kinetic motion using catapults, magnetic guns, air rockets and (controlled) explosions among other methods to project objects. With the chance to adapt their designs and methods, teams will compete to cover the greatest distance by improving the efficiency. Prizes will be awarded to the most successful team as well as to those who demonstrate the most creative ideas. The workshop is sure to build energy for the main event!
